台湾の台北を本拠地として2020年より運航を開始した新航空会社「スターラックス航空」をご存じでしょうか。スターラックス航空はLCCではなく、フルサービスキャリアの航空会社で、台湾エミレーツを目指すことを目標に掲げている航空会社です。すでに日本でも、台北から成田・関空・福岡・新千歳・那覇・仙台に就航しておりますし、東南アジア方面の各都市にも就航、そしてロサンゼルスにも就航しており、勢いがある航空会社です。

はい、スターラックス航空とアラスカ航空の提携が開始です。
これのどこが注目点になってくるのか、この記事で紹介しておきます。
2023/7よりアラスカマイルでスターラックスの特典航空券発券可能に。必要マイル数は・サーチャージは？
ついについにスターラックス航空の特典航空券がアラスカマイルで発券可能となっています。これが何がいいのかというと、
- アラスカマイルはバイマイルでも手に入る（アラスカマイルのセール情報はこちら）
- アラスカマイルはマリオットアメックスからのポイント移行先でもある（マイル移行方法はこちら）
という状況なので、日本でも超簡単に手に入るからです。
さて、何マイルが必要になるのか、さっそくチェックしてみました。
片道あたりの必要マイル数は、東京・大阪から台北までで
- エコノミークラス：7,500マイル
- プレミアムエコノミー：10,000マイル
- ビジネスクラス：15,000マイル
となっており、なかなかリーズナブルです。他、サーチャージが不要（空港使用料が少額必要）なのはデカいですね！また、人数を4人にして検索したりすると、必要マイル数が15,000→37,500マイルになったりもしているようです。特典航空券の空席状況によりマイル数が2段階で変動するような印象もあります。ただ、現状は一番少ないマイルで特典航空券が発券できる日程が大量にあり、かなり発券しやすいです。
他の路線だとスターラックス航空の長距離路線の台北＝ロサンゼルスは、
片道あたりの必要マイル数は、
- エコノミークラス：20,000マイル
- プレミアムエコノミー：40,000マイル
- ビジネスクラス：60,000マイル
となっておりますが、この路線は米国路線というだけあり、大量の米国の陸マイラーたちがすでにガンガン発券しています。なので、ビジネスクラスの60,000マイルの空席は非常に少なくなっています。こちらも2段階になっているようで、165,000マイルの日程が非常に多いです。
以上、スターラックス航空の特典航空券がアラスカマイルで発券可能になっており、発券するための必要マイル数を簡単に整理しました。マイル数は残席数に応じて変動するような形になっておりますが、日本路線に関しては、特典航空券の空席枠がめちゃくちゃ多くなっている今こそ大チャンスです！！！
また、日本から台北を経由して東南アジアに行くような特典航空券ももちろん発券可能で、その際には1つの航空券で関空→バンコクのように発券するよりも、関空→台北と台北→バンコクと2つに分けて発券する方が必要マイル数が少なかったりもします。興味ある人は色々検索してみてくださいね！

- スターラックス航空への搭乗でアラスカ航空のマイルが貯まる
- スターラックス航空のマイルでアラスカ航空の特典航空券が発券できる
- アラスカ航空への搭乗でスターラックス航空のマイルが貯まる
- アラスカ航空のマイルでスターラックス航空の特典航空券が発券できる
ということになります。
この中で最大の注目になってくるのは4つ目なんですよね。アラスカ航空のマイルでスターラックス航空の特典航空券が発券できるようになるという点です。というのも、スターラックス航空のマイルを簡単に貯めることができるのなら、スターラックス航空のマイルでスターラックス航空の特典航空券が発券できたりもするのですが、日本でスターラックス航空のマイルはめちゃくちゃ貯めにくいです。スターラックス航空のマイルが貯まるクレジットカードが日本にはないからなんですよね。
が、アラスカ航空のマイルは比較的に簡単に貯まります。というのは、
- マリオットアメックスプレミアムでアラスカ航空のマイルは還元率1.25%で貯まる

そんな、アラスカ航空のマイルでスターラックス航空に搭乗が可能になるということなので、注目されているんです。
日本を中心とした短距離路線に利用されているA320のビジネスクラスでも、この豪華さですし、ロサンゼルス路線に導入されてるA350なら、
フルフラットの超豪華シートが導入されています。さらにA350にはビジネスクラスの上のファーストクラスも台湾の航空会社で唯一導入されているんですよ。さすが、台湾のエミレーツを目指している航空会社ですよね。
そんなスターラックスの特典航空券がアラスカマイルで発券できるようになるんですよ。特典航空券の発券開始時期は、2023年の夏ころを予定しており、必要マイル数も、
- 台北=ロサンゼルスの片道エコノミークラス：20,000マイル
- 台北=ロサンゼルスの片道プレミアムエコノミー：40,000マイル
- 台北=ロサンゼルスの片道ビジネスクラスクラス：60,000マイル
- 台北=ロサンゼルスの片道ファーストクラスクラス：特典航空券なし
と予定されています。60,000マイルで台北からロスまでスターラックスのA350のビジネスクラスに搭乗できるとなれば、これは個人的にはかなり注目です。なお、現状では日本＝台北間の必要マイル数は不明ですが、ビジネスクラスが30,000マイルくらいになるような感じでしょうかね。

スターラックス航空はいずれワンワールド加盟となるのか！？
あと、航空会社好きが気になるのが、今後スターラックス航空が3大アライアンス（スターアライアンス・ワンワールド・スカイチーム）に加盟するのかどうかという点ですね。
台湾の航空会社は、
- エバー航空はANAなどなどと同じスターアライアンス所属
- チャイナエアラインはデルタ航空などなどと同じスカイチーム所属
となっており、ワンワールドの席が空いている状況です。そして、今回提携開始となったアラスカ航空もワンワールド加盟の航空会社です。となると、スターラックス航空もワンワールドに加盟を検討しているのでは？という点は非常に気になるところだと思います。ワンワールド加盟ということになれば、スターラックス航空への搭乗でJALマイルが貯まりますし、JALマイルでスターラックス航空の特典航空券が発券可能になったりします。こんなことが可能になればめちゃくちゃ嬉しいですよね。
2023/5の時点においては、スターラックス航空がアライアンスに加盟をするという話は出ておらず、飛行機好きの人々の妄想の域を出ないところではありますが、今後のビッグニュースを自分も大いに期待しています。JALマイルが使える航空会社が増えるとか最高ですからね！しかも、それがスターラックス航空ならなおさらです！

Our Mileage Plan members can now earn miles on all STARLUX flights, and soon they’ll be able to redeem miles on STARLUX. When redemptions become available this summer on STARLUX flights between Los Angeles and Taipei, they will start at 20,000 miles for economy, 40,000 for premium economy and 60,000 for business class for a limited time
From Southern California, STARLUX opens a new international gateway through its main hub in Taipei for connections to 16 destinations across Asia, including Bangkok, Thailand; Hanoi, Vietnam; Penang, Malaysia; Manila, Philippines; Singapore; Macau and Sapporo, Japan. Los Angeles (LAX) is one of Alaska’s hubs along the West Coast allowing for convenient connectivity to STARLUX flights for our guests.

STARLUX operates the transpacific route with its new-generation Airbus A350-900 aircraft configured in a four-class layout: First, business, premium economy and economy. Travelers in first and business classes enjoy a private space with a sliding door and seats with full-flat and Zero G mode for full relaxation. The extra-legroom premium economy section features a 40-inch Recaro seat with a leg rest and footrest bar. Economy class seats are equipped with leather headrests and a wide seat pitch.
Inflight service on STARLUX includes Taiwanese signature dishes and amenities prepared for passengers in all classes. STARLUX will be offering first and business guests a selection of the best top chef’s creations and local Taiwanese delicacies. The popular STARLUX signature dish yakiniku donburi is served on board.
